Additional Projects and Experiences
-
ROAR Robotics Lab Research Student (September 2021-Present)
-
As a research student under Professor Agrawal at the Robotics and Rehabilitation Lab, I was tasked with innovating, designing, and manufacturing data acquisition techniques and technology. Along with that, I was required to streamline the data processing of existing technology. I also assisted in testing and rehab work with post-stroke patients.

-
Robotics Lab Intern (May-June 2019)
-
During this placement worked under Professor Ian Robertson as part of the Self Repairing Cities project where I learned how to program and operate a miniature unmanned aerial system and a four degrees of freedom robotic arm. I also gained experience in using 3D printing technology and 3D modeling software.

-
Project on Biomechanical Engineering & Prosthetics (October 2016)
-
I secured a placement at the Leeds University Institute of Medical and Biological Engineering. I had a chance to participate in designing and testing multiple prosthetic implants including 12 knee joints and 3 spine disks. I learned how to use Solidworks for engineering modeling. I also gained experience in coding in Python by rendering a virtual testing environment for prosthetic implants. See below for stress testing in physics engine.
