App Design: AwayTogether

"Maya is an engineer from Mumbai and she recently moved to NYC. Like 3.4 million other immigrants, she finds it difficult to adopt the US lifestyle, navigate healthcare, and meet friends outside of work, making her question her future in NY.

Away Together helps immigrants, like Maya, connect with each other through a supportive community of similar backgrounds, shared challenges, and common interests. Through forums that help navigate complex topics, events that facilitate social interactions, and rewards for engagement, Maya can now ease into a new life in NYC with the help of a diverse community behind her."
